In march the sea front can hold passage Black Redstarts in any of the more run down areas. Large numbers of Mediterranean Gull congregate between the piers at all times of year particularly in the winter months. The most important visitor though is the Little Tern, the north beach has the largest Breeding Colony in Britain.
